The news outlet released its picks for the best sandwiches in all 50 states on Wednesday, Aug. 24.

The sandwich was popularized by Melrose resident Emma Curtis, a descendent of Paul Revere, during World War I, according to the New England Historical Society.
Some other sandwiches that made the list are the pork roll in New Jersey, the pastrami on rye in New York, and the cheesesteak in Pennsylvania.
